The Tyrone Borough Council consists of seven (7) members and the Mayor, who also serves as President of Council. Each member serves a four-year term. Council Members serve the Borough to improve the community, preserve its history and plan for its future

The Borough Council meets twice a month on the first and second Monday. All Council meetings begin at 7:00pm at the Tyrone Borough Municipal Building and are open to the public.
