The Tyrone Police Department is located at the rear of the Tyrone Municipal Building at 1100 Logan Avenue. The Borough currently employs full-time and part-time officers to patrol the Borough. The Department engages in community oriented police practices and prides itself on providing services to the residents.

Tyrone Police Chief is Joseph Beachem.
